DoTerra Essential Oils Review Plus Intro Kit Giveaway!

I am often looking for ways to heal my family naturally.  Whether that is for something like the flu, sore muscles, or calming over-stressed kids I would prefer using a natural remedy to a drug.  I use essential oils frequently to treat different ailments and have found them to be effective.

That's why I was so excited when Lauren Borits over at Discover Natural Solutions approached me about reviewing her DoTerra Essential Oils.

I have heard allot about DoTerra oils over the years and have many friends who use them, but up until this point I have never tried them myself.

DoTerra Oils have the reputation for being extremely pure and carefully processed.  They are medicinal grade and there are literally dozens and dozens of single oils, blends, and other products to choose from.

Lauren asked me about some of my health concerns and my top one is high blood pressure.  She sent me Balance to help with my stress.   My blood pressure is highly influenced by my anxiety.

Balance
Grounding Blend

Everyone experiences moments of disconnectedness or anxiety. The warm, woody aroma of Balance, dōTERRA®’s grounding blend, creates a sense of calm and well-being. We perfectly blend spruce, rosewood, frankincense and blue tansy to offer an enticing fragrance which promotes tranquility and a sense of balance. For aromatic or topical use.

I love the scent of Balance and have found it very helpful in keeping me calm and in control. It is used for anxiety, stress, depression and hyperactivity.  This morning in fact as I sat here typing out this post my right arm was trembling for some reason.  Like when you have done too much heavy work.  I couldn't think of why it was doing this but put two drops of Balance into my hands and rubbed them together and then inhaled deeply.  Immediately my arm stopped shaking.  Pretty cool huh?

I also received Wild Orange and Peppermint.  Both of these oils have a wide range of uses and are uplifting and calming.  I know from experience that Peppermint is a great ant repellent and also is wonderful if inhaled for sinus and respiratory ailments.

I was impressed with the quality and strength of all three of these oils.  I know that price wise DoTerra is unfortunately at the high end of the market, but for certain oils I would reorder because they work!  DoTerra also has the added benefit of a high level of support.  They provide books and pamphlets on how to use their oils and have online resources as well.
