Due to my sons allergies I have not been able to use fabric softeners or dryer sheets for 10 years.  He is terribly allergic to them and his health is way more important to me than softer towels!  I didn't really think there was a solution until I found Woolzies Dryer Balls.

Ok so I love every part of that!  Something that not only softens my laundry without chemicals and saves me money too is a winner!  I do on average three loads of laundry per day and anything that will reduce our electric bill is something I am enthusiastic about!
