And the Raven Said

An injured raven found a place to nurse its wounds today in the window of an abandoned building. We saw it while driving past and I snapped a picture with my cellphone. When I see the coming inevitable death of an injured animal it always gives me an awful feeling. Poor thing, we tried calling several agencies but none would have anything to do with it.

  1. Just a suggestion, though maybe you have tried. Look up on the internet for wildlife rehabilitation sources under your state. There should be a listing of "rehabers" that deal with birds, large (birds of prey) and small, mammals, reptiles, etc. They all usually know each other and if they can't help personally, they will usually know of someone who will and pass that information on to you. They're trained individuals who do this on their own. It's a good source to print out and keep on hand. I have used it many times for small birds, turtles and deer in my own state. Good luck. Have a blessed Sunday and hope this would help in some way.
