Well the bitterly cold weather is officially here isn't it? The air is dry and biting and it all takes a toll on our skin, especially the delicate skin of the lips. Having a good chap stick is so important but I hate regular store chap stick that is loaded with lots of questionable chemicals. So when Eco Lips offered to let me try their products I was so excited!
Eco Lips is a company devoted to creating and producing lip balms using the highest quality organic and natural ingredients. One of the things Eco Lips does is offer a make your own option where you get to pick out what you want in your lip balms from the base oils to nourishing add on's and even the flavors and packaging!
This is what I got to do and I have to say it was really fun! The offer is called My Eco Lips. This is such a great idea and you even get to pick the coloring of the packaging and make your own label with a personalized message. This would be so great for Christmas Presents, Wedding Favors, and Birthday/Party Favors in my opinion.
For my lip balms I wanted to have it extra nourishing because I was giving it to my children so I added olive oil, vitamin E oil, argan oil, avocado oil, kukui nut oil, calendula, and rose hip oil. I flavored it with apple cider.
The label I chose says Mommy's Loving Lip Balm. I got the extra large stick because then the kids can really smear it around their lips and also its harder to loose or accidently leave in a pocket without anyone noticing and then goes through the washing machine (which happens allot when you have children).
The price for creating your own lip balms, and in fact for all the other lip balms you can buy from Eco Lips is very cheap! I like that because not only do they use extremely high quality ingredients that are even nicer than companies like Burt's Bee's, they are way less expensive!
The balms shipped fast and when we got the kids fell in love. I tried it too and it goes on really nice and absorbs well. It has really helped with our chapped lips! I would recommend Eco Lips to anyone looking for a high quality lip balm at an affordable price, and to top it off you can create your own personalizing the oils to your specific needs!
