Good Night Little Pumpkin Book Review and Giveaway!

I love autumn!  Everything from the crisp cool air to being able to cook hearty savory foods and bake spicy breads and treats using apple and pumpkin.  I have a bunch of fall themed children's books for my little ones and am always on the lookout for more.

Good Night, Little Pumpkin, Claire KeaySo when Tommy Nelson sent me an autumn inspired book I was very excited.  They sent me the book Good Night, Little Pumpkin which is for children ages 0 to 5, although my 9 and 11 year olds cuddled up with me every time I read it to their little brother and enjoyed it too.

Sleepy little Milo, in his oversized pumpkin costume, is making the rounds at the harvest party with his friends. It’s time to go home, but he wants to enjoy every game at the fall fair before the night is over! Crunching leaves, crisp breezes, mountains of sweets—celebrate the abundance of the harvest season through this bedtime book for children. Charming illustrations and a sweet story are perfect for young hearts.

A great alternative to scary books, this fun harvest-themed book is sure to be a perennial favorite.

This is the perfect book to get right now.  I love the illustrations and the hard cardboard of the book is great for toddlers because they can turn the pages easily and the book can take allot of abuse. Also at less than $10.00 this book is a great deal and will delight the child you read it to.
